   Residents are invited to nominate trees to be honored with Heritage status in 2026. Trees may be nominated in any of these categories:

   • Association with a famous person or significant event
   • An historic landmark
   • Unusual size, form, age or other unusual quality

   
   

   The deadline for submissions for the 2026 Heritage Tree Award is September 8, 2026.
