On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Shaker Heights Police Department initiated a search operation for 31-year-old Madalyn Marshall, a resident of Shaker Heights, who was reported missing by her husband, Colin Marshall, after she did not return home from picking up food from a local restaurant.
Mrs. Marshall gave birth a week ago. Her vehicle was located on the West 44th Street exit ramp of eastbound Interstate 90, with the door left open and keys in the ignition. In response to this, a coordinated search effort began, involving the Cleveland Division of Police, Metro Parks Police, Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Deputies, and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Intelligence Tools and technology, including drones, were enlisted to assist in locating Mrs. Marshall. After several hours of searching the area in an around Mrs. Marshall’s vehicle, physical search efforts have temporarily been suspended as we continue to work with Mrs. Marshall’s family, friends and law enforcement.
“Our entire Shaker Heights Community is deeply concerned for Madalyn’s well-being and are doing everything we can to locate her,” said Chief of Police Wayne D. Hudson. “Our priority is ensuring her safe return to her family.”
Local authorities urge anyone with information regarding Madalyn Marshall’s whereabouts to contact the Shaker Heights Police Department immediately
