In preparation of the Lynnfield/Lomond Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) project, Enbridge Gas Ohio (formerly Dominion Energy Ohio), will be relocating gas mains in the general area of Sherrington Rd. (Gridley Rd. to Lomond Blvd.) and Lomond Blvd. (Gridley Rd. to Winchell Rd.). The project is anticipated to start the week of June 24 and take 10 weeks (weather permitting).
There will be periodic road closures throughout the gas relocation project. Emergency services, rubbish collection and other City services will be coordinated with the contractor to minimize the inconvenience to neighborhood.
Enbridge Gas Ohio and/or their contractor will provide additional notification to impacted residents prior to the project starting.
For public safety, the work site will have signs, barricades and warning lights in place. Please follow the traffic patterns the contractor has established. Also, please help keep neighborhood children safe by warning them about the danger of playing in the construction site or on any of the equipment.
Note regarding the Lynnfield/Lomond Sewer Project: The project schedule has been altered due to the length of time it took to secure the funding. It is our intent to advertise and award the construction contract in fall 2024. Actual construction will start in spring 2025. Prior to starting construction, the City will hold a public meeting to discuss the project, schedule and maintenance of traffic.
