Construction of a Tesla Supercharging Station will begin the week of July 17 in the Van Aken District plaza, north of 1899 Indoor Golf. The contractor anticipates completing the project by September 1. The general scope of work will include pavement removal and replacement, installation of necessary infrastructure associated with a charging station, pavement restoration and markings. The work hours will be 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. The project is being coordinated with RMS and there should be minimal parking disruptions for costumers visiting merchants in the area.
