The Fire Department is always prepared to assist residents with both emergencies and non-emergencies. Follow these guidelines when contacting the Fire Department:

  • Emergency 911 Calls: Call 9-1-1 to report an emergency, including a fire or emergency medical need. From a cell phone, call 216-491-1234 to reach the dispatch center directly, as calling 9-1-1 will route your call through Cuyahoga Emergency Communications System (CECOMS). 
  • Non-Emergency Calls: Call the Fire Prevention Bureau at 216-491-1215, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
